MY SPOTIFY WRAPPED WAS A JOURNEY THIS YEAR

OK, I apparently wasn’t messing around with my listening this year. Serious business. Then again, everybody’s gotta loosen up once in a while.

Fair enough. What better time for a post-apocalyptic movie tunes soundtrack phase than the bleak Minnesota midwinter?

Once spring sprang, though, only some boujee strut rap would do. I’m really learning a thing or two about genre taxonomy here. I do love the production on Nicki Minaj tracks, though. No doubt about that.

I think it was more than just a moment, but it was definitely an atmospheric noise ambient something…

I had to abandon that plan to listen to 1,009 artists, but I feel pretty good about what I achieved.

Where indeed? Did I fall asleep mid-listen or something? I do not recall this particular 7.6-hour listening spree.

I also do not recall this lost weekend with Federico, but neither do I regret it in the least. I wonder if July 18th was one of the days. In any case, if I’m ever in Brazil, dude better buy me some lunch.

…leaving only 494,694 other minutes. Which I apparently spent listening to Ferderico Durand. And/ or Nicki Minaj.

That’s right, folks. Top 1% of news listeners. So if you ever think I don’t listen to you, you’re probably right. I’m too busy listening to all that news. And Nicki Minaj.

As the FBI guy said at the end of “Burn After Reading”: What have we learned here? Not sure. I do know that I shouldn’t want to listen to anything ever again. And yet… if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a post-apocalyptic movie tunes soundtrack phase to prepare for.

What have you been listening to lately? Drop me a line and let me know. I’ve got some minutes to fill in 2025…
