An update on screenings of films featuring original music, sound design, and mix by Cool Cat Audio out in the world. I'm honored by the opportunity to help storytellers bring their work to the public.

“Maternal Fabric”, a collaboration between author Elizabeth Jarrett Andrew and filmmaker Lucy Mathews Heegaard, featuring audio post production by Cool Cat Audio, screens this Saturday March 27th at the Albany Film Festival, hosted by the New York State Writer's Institute, and will also screen at the Minneapolis- St Paul International Film Festival on Saturday April 5th as part of the Sense of Place shorts block at 11 am.

“Let’s Count to Six, Shall We?”, animated by John Akre and featuring an original score by Mike Hallenbeck, screens as part of the Ann Arbor Film Festival this Saturday March 29th at 1:30 PM, and is also roaming as part of the Square Lake Film & Music Festival’s Traveling Showcase program.

“The Glasses”, co-directed by Frances Chewning and Sarah Smith and featuring audio post production by Cool Cat Audio, has screened at Palm Springs ShortFest, HollyShorts, LA Shorts, Big Apple Film Festival, Ojai Film Festival Minneapolis / St. Paul International Film Festival, Montana Film Festival, Raleigh Film & Art Festival, Catalina Film Festival, and Wisconsin Film Festival.

“Le Cosmos”, directed by Natalie Peracchio and featuring an original score, sound design and mix by Mike Hallenbeck, has been selected to screen at Atlanta Film Festival, Bridge Video Chicago, Capital City Film Festival, Twin Cities Film Festival, Lone Star Film Festival, Altered Images Film Festival, and Video and Art Experimental Film Festival, Grrl Haus Cinema, and Pebbles Underground Film Festival.

“Fighting Sleep”, directed by Kevin Obsatz and featuring an original score by Mike Hallenbeck, premiered at the Antimatter Media Art festival and has screened at New Jersey International Film Fest’s Super 8 Film & Digital Video Festival.
